The Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC) is a branch of the Canadian Armed Forces consisting of 7,500 reserve officers whose primary duty is the safety, supervision, administration, and training of Royal Canadian Sea, Army, and Air Cadets.

As Regional Manager, I provide support and guidance in program delivery, staff management, succession planning, and budgeting to the 13 cadet units in the Vancouver/North Shore area. Recently, this has included significant support in navigating programming and policy changes to operations in a pandemic environment.

Regional Manager (Zone Training Officer)

Subway Devco is the owner and development office for all Subway and Taco Del Mar franchises in Western Canada, responsible for strategic restaurant growth and franchisee support.

In this role, I primarily worked with the President of the company, providing support in stakeholder relations (franchisees, vendors, commercial brokers, public), schedule and appointment management, and expenses administration. I was also responsible to facilitate the administration of franchise sales/transfers and assist with special projects, including coordination of conferences, meetings, workshops, and special events. Additionally, I recruited, trained, and oversaw the responsibilities of the front office receptionist.

Dress for Success Vancouver is a registered Canadian charity which strives to promote the economic independence of financially disadvantaged women throughout Greater Vancouver.

My responsibilities included coordinating recognition of supporters, issuing tax receipts, and planning and supporting special events, including the annual 250-guest fundraising gala and the "Power Walk for Dress for Success". I also coordinated and edited the quarterly electronic newsletter and maintained the blog and social networking accounts (Facebook, Twitter). In past roles, I managed fundraising efforts as Fund Development Coordinator and was responsible for recruiting, on-boarding, and training volunteers as Volunteer Coordinator.

Community & Donor Relations Coordinator

As a Commanding Officer (2012-15), I was responsible for the operations of a 200+ member Air Cadet Squadron in Port Moody. In this senior management role, I managed 15 adult staff members and ensured programming was delivered safely and within the $300,000 annual budget.
