Philip Wolf is a renowned travel industry executive with a prolific background that began with a degree in Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from Vanderbilt. After working as an assistant to a CEO and in the manufacturing business, he discovered a new passion in the travel industry when he became the CEO of Travelmation in 1989, a pioneering online booking platform. Wolf became the founder and CEO of PhoCusWright, a respected research and conference firm that focused on the online travel marketplace. His vision for the company was to size and analyze the global travel industry and to espouse the power of internet travel. Wolf succeeded in this vision, and PhoCusWright became the industry's research authority, and its insights are still relied upon today. In 2011, Wolf sold PhoCusWright and retired from his executive role, and he now serves as a mentor and independent board director to many private and listed companies worldwide.
