Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from ESADE Business & Law School, Maxim has led digital transformations, business development, and strategic marketing that have led to tangible and commercial results. He has good knowledge of global markets, having studied business in the USA, Brazil, Russia, India, and Spain.

Maxim is the Founder of Sonica, an alcoholic sparkling water company, and the Chief Marketing Officer of Sonica Drinks. His recent career accomplishments include delivering the business idea to market launch stage, digital transformation of brand communication, and coaching a team of nine country brand managers to execute brand strategies. He has also achieved an 80% recommendation rate at first impression for his latest product, Sonica.

Maxim's previous experience includes being the Marketing Manager at William Grant & Sons, Brand Manager at Maxxium Russia, Brand Ambassador at Maxxium Russia, and National Sales and Marketing Manager at Swatch Group. He has also completed a certificate of completion in Organizations Transformation and Change Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a certificate of completion in Doing Business in India from the Indian School of Business.
