Production Manager at Toyota’s San Francisco Parts and Distribution Center
• Manage and develop a team of 10 salaried employees and 78 warehouse associates at a parts and distribution 
center that services 68 Toyota dealerships and 38 Lexus dealerships in the pacific northwest.
• Manage the building KPI’s of safety, cost, quality, HRD and customer by increasing operating efficiencies, 
improving customer satisfaction, and building a high performing team culture through the application of JKK, 
FMDS, TBP, 5S, TPS and SPSR moment by moment management principles.
• Manage SFPDC’s P&L as well as 5M expense budget, 9M labor budget, and 4M capital budget.
• Reduced 5M expense budget by 17% by sourcing new shipping supply companies and reduced 9M labor budget 
by 3% through automation implementation and kaizens targeted at process efficiencies in first year in the role.
• Launched a conveyance AGV that saved one full head count on both shifts, resulting in 150K in laborsavings.
• Launched “Same Day Service” program for dealers within 30-mile radius resulting in best ever part sales for five 
straight months at the SFPDC (+6% sales increase vs prior year).
• Current project manager of Gentani Live Tool with the goal of creating a digital Tableau live progress 
control board paired with a workload plan tool that uses real live data for accurate headcount allocation

Toyota North America

Production Manager

•	Travelled to Toyota's distribution centers facilitating Kaizens where I identified and standardized best practices and implemented TPS principles making processes more efficient and reducing labor costs 
•	Led development and implementation of “WMS Gentani”, a labor cost reduction project that saved $1,064,000 in labor cost network wide and counting using CAD and the TPS principle of elemental time study.
•	Launched new flagship parts and distribution center in Phoenix, AZ (PXPDC) as part of a five person operations & facility design launch team amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. PXPDC now services 68 dealerships daily.
•	Created SOPs and implemented 42 shipping & receiving processes for the launch of the PXPDC, six of those processes have been identified as best practices and have been implemented at all 13 of Toyota’s PDC’s
•	Constructed a training DOJO and developed and delivered onboarding training of “TPS Principles” and “The Toyota Way” for facility managers, six operations supervisors and 120 hourly workers for launch of PXPDC.
•	Launched and managed the pick pack & ship operation at the PXPDC ultimately achieving a self-sustained operation by implementing TPS, FMDS, and moment by moment management tools.
•	Reduced 3 full headcount at TMMK (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky) in labor reduction Jishuken.
•	Supported carrier transition at the PTPDC by helping to develop dock due times, truck departure times and a headcount analysis. Lead, developed, and implemented cage loading training and new shipping dock processes that helped to reduce errors, increase productivity, and utilize more space.
•	Project manager, sole trainer/implementer of “BPAKS” (Best Practice & Kaizen Sharing) database.
•	Facilitated two kaizens at the Dallas PDC 3PL ultimately resulting in decreasing molding damages by 61%
•	Managed $3.4M expense budget for the Toyota “Field Operations Support” department
•	Project manager for the on time/under budget 130-person 2019 Toyota Kaizen Conference

Toyota Production System Excellence Analyst

•	Direct supervisor of roughly 70 hourly team members. Responsible for monitoring daily performance metrics to align with overall plant production schedule and requirements at the largest PDC in the network.
•	Created a productivity standard by implementing a moment-by-moment floor management tool in a strong union environment that reduced lead time and increased team efficiency which ultimately reduced labor cost.
•	Led Kaizen project that resulted in a 40% reduction in congestion, full headcount reduction in productivity and a 100% reduction in powered equipment accidents at the location.

Operations Leader

This role trained me on the Toyota production system (TPS), union team member interaction, and how to successfully run an operation. I graduated this role early to became an operations leader immediately at the Los Angeles parts and distribution center.

• Facilitated changes in daily procedures to increase efficiency by using TPS/TQM, Kaizen, and 5S principles and through building a cooperative relationship with hourly employees
