S. Gupta is an accomplished executive with vast experience in leadership and board membership. He served on various boards of directors, including the Department of Energy's Sandia National Laboratories, Bay Area Council, APIA Scholars, San Jose Museum of Art, and LEAP. His expertise in leading change and developing minority leadership makes him a recognized expert, quoted in various national media. Gupta is a graduate of Marine Engineering College in India and the University of Michigan, where he obtained a BSE in NA&ME. He also holds an MBA from Seattle University and numerous credentials, including Director's College at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Kellogg School of Management - Minority Director Development, and Transition to General Management at Columbia University in the City of New York. He worked for Lockheed Martin as the Vice President of Operations for Space Systems, with an annual budget authority of over $700 million. Gupta is a credentialed board director with NACD and has published and presented papers on leadership, business, and technical subjects. He volunteers with TiE and serves as an Executive Adviser to Ascend, where he is helping lead Pinnacle, an Asian American Corporate Board initiative. Gupta recently joined the board of APIASF, which has given over $90M in scholarships to Asian American students for the past six years.
