Kasun Medagedara is a driven and interdisciplinary Public Health professional with a strong background in biological research and health equity-based analysis. Currently working on obtaining his Master of Public Health degree with CEPH certification from Simon Fraser University, Medagedara has a demonstrated history of collaborative teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking in his field. Additionally, he has experience as a Research Assistant at UBC School of Nursing in Vancouver and previously interned with the Government of Alberta's Primary Care Policy and Innovation team, as well as pursuing a Summer Internship in Biological Sciences at National University of Singapore and an Experiential Seminar in Public Health at Fudan University. He has a particular interest in the intersection of film-photography and public health, and is currently the director of STRATUS, a film-photography publication.
