Rachel Segal is an experienced ESG and sustainability management consultant with a focus on environmental and social finance. With eight years of experience in both the public and private sectors, she has devoted her career to shifting the allocation of capital towards achieving robust financial, social, and environmental results. She currently works as an ESG Analyst at Pzena Investment Management, where she is responsible for ESG research and disclosure. Prior to her role at Pzena, Rachel worked at BNY Mellon, where she was responsible for developing the bank's enterprise-wide Social Investing strategy, managing ESG disclosure, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on the bank's ESG capabilities. Before BNY Mellon, Rachel worked as a sustainability and strategy consultant, advising clients on corporate sustainability strategy, environmental finance targets, benchmarking ESG performance, and developing sustainability policies. Rachel holds an MA in Geography from Cambridge University and an MA in International Relations and Economics from The Advanced School of International Studies (SAIS).
