Yannick Willemin is a tech entrepreneur and business development manager who is passionate about making high-performance materials more accessible to the masses. He studied Business Administration and Management, as well as Material and Mechanics of Structures, and has worked in various roles across industries. In his tenure at SGL Carbon, Yannick held positions in purchasing, technical competence centers, and R&D. He was also Head of Innovation Strategy at the company. Yannick was the former Chairman of the Aerospace Suppliers work group at Swiss Aerospace Cluster and the Vice-President of Viapolytech'Orleans. He is currently the Business Development Manager at 9T Labs, where he strives to transform mass manufacturing by making carbon fiber composites more accessible to series production through 3D printing. His work involves smart fiber placement software, 3D printing, and consolidation workstations to support the entire workflow from design to mass production. His skills and expertise include additive manufacturing, functional materials, materials science, blockchain, and networks, and he has a keen interest in engineering, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
