Matthew Jorgensen is an accomplished educator with an extensive background in eLearning and educational technology. With a passion for connecting Queensland schools and students to tech industry partners, he currently serves as the Qld Project Manager for the Gateway to Industry Schools Programme ICT sector. Jorgensen is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and was recognized as a Queensland Microsoft Teacher Ambassador in 2016. As the creator of RobloxEDU, Jorgensen was the first teacher to use Roblox Studio for Digital Technologies curriculum. He also has expertise in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, blended learning, online learning, game-based learning, and digital technologies curriculum. Jorgensen holds a Masters in Education from Griffith University and has completed training in Peer Coaching Facilitation and Educational Leadership and Administration. He has held leadership positions in several schools, including Director of eLearning at Saint Stephen's College and Elearning Specialist at Coomera Anglican College. Jorgensen has experience with various educational technology tools, such as Office 365 and cloud for education, OneNote Class Notebook, and learning management systems. He is also familiar with robotics, drones, and MaKey MaKey.
