Peter van Gorsel is an accomplished publisher, consultant, and marketeer with a wealth of experience in national and international publishing, retail, sales, marketing, distribution, gamification, education, storytelling, and media. He has worked in various high-level executive roles, including former Dean of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and former Publisher of Information Professional, Enterprise Information Management, and Library Journal. He has also served on the board of Dutch Public Broadcasting, House of Denim, Amsterdam Uitmarkt, EIM conference, Big Data events, and World Congress on IT.

Peter's educational background includes studying Marketing at the Amsterdam University Of Applied Sciences, Marketing and Publishing at the Publishers Training Institute, and Design and Publishing at Grafische School Utrecht. He also studied Writing and Journalism at the Department of Sociology, LSE, Teaching and Elementary Education, and Education.

Currently, Peter is the Founder and Owner of Serendip media, a consultant, publisher, and marketer with a focus on implementing mid to long-term plans. He has a reputation for producing tangible results, adhering to deadlines, and developing long-term strategies for Creative Industries. Additionally, he has held senior positions in various organizations such as Neurofied, Flavour, Spektor Storytelling, Uitgeverij Balans, AVROTROS, INCT, VIPdoc, House of Denim, RebelToday, and Dutch Creative Writing Ass.
