Gertjan Rohaan is a strategic thinker with a strong design background. He possesses an extensive multidisciplinary approach and has worked on various urban planning projects with a broad perspective. He studied Natural Sciences, Greek, and Economics at Koningin Wilhelmina College before pursuing postgraduate studies in Architectural Design and Urban Cultures at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. He later studied Architecture at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich and earned a BSc in Architecture, Building, and Planning at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.

Rohaan has worked in numerous organizations throughout his career, including the Gemeente Amsterdam, where he served as a Strategic Advisor for Space and Economy. He was also a member of the Delta-Studio team at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, advising on strategy and organizational development, and a Trainee at the Dienst Ruimtelijke Ordening Amsterdam. Additionally, Rohaan has held various design roles, including freelance and junior project work, and as an assistant designer at FRANTZEN et al architecten.
