Chris Lucero

Chris Lucero's expertise is focused on industry automation and enabling innovation in computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. He is the Director of Industrial IOT Emerging Technologies at Intel Corporation and is committed to fostering strong partnerships with professional and educational research communities to help unveil the next wave of industrial innovation. Chris is also dedicated to passing on his extensive knowledge of systems engineering to the next generation of innovators along with his peers and partners. The New Mexico State University Mechanical Engineering graduate is a co-author of the technical book Energy Aware Computing – Powerful Approaches for Green System Design that highlights the green methods for power reduction for a sustainable computing environment. He is also the co-inventor of thirteen patents in areas such as thermal/mechanical design, power profiling, and wireless sensor networks.
