Peter Tolfree is a highly experienced and versatile educator, with a wide range of expertise in teaching language arts, math, science, and film production. He is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer with a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Southern California. Peter has also studied teaching and education at Seattle Community College-South Campus and California State University-Northridge, where he earned a Teaching Credential in Secondary English.

He has worked in various educational settings, including public and charter schools, non-profit organizations, and private tutoring centers. Peter taught screenwriting, film production, and theater to students of all ages at Bethel School District, Northwest Film Forum, and Island Shakespeare Festival. He has also taught language arts, math, and science to middle and high school students at various districts in Washington and California.

Aside from his teaching career, Peter has worked in television post-production, human resources, admissions counseling, and administrative assistance. He is a skilled communicator, proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Pro-Tools, and Maya Digital Animation Software. He is also comfortable teaching and coordinating work-based learning and career choices.

Currently, Peter is a content specialist at Boeing and previously worked as a visitor relations specialist at the same company. He was also an educator at the Institute of Flight and a programmer for Children's Film Festival Seattle, among other roles.
