Anna Kelderman, a seasoned professional in the property and planning industry, has been instrumental in bringing urban planning and community engagement together. With 20 years of experience in strategic planning for urban revitalization, coastal hazard management, maritime planning, and policy review, Anna's vast experience has now led her to establish Shape Urban, which aims to foster collaborative efforts between clients, communities, and consultants to enhance local strategic and community plans across the state.
Anna started her career as an Urban Planner in local government, after which she joined consulting and progressively worked on co-design and deliberative engagement. Her expertise in stakeholder engagement and community visioning has offered her a unique perspective in creating sustainable strategies that reflect the interests of the communities. Anna's remarkable projects, such as Canning Bridge Activity Centre Plan, Building Bayswater, Emu Point to Middleton Beach CHRMAP, Imagine Vincent, and Cottesloe Foreshore Master plan, are an ode to her dedication and tireless efforts towards creating community-centric solutions.
Anna has a degree in English Language and Literature from Edith Cowan University and additional studies in Urban Planning. She is currently the Director at Shape Urban and a former Discipline Lead, Urban Design and Planning at GHD Pty ltd. and former Planner/Senior Planner at City of Joondalup.
