Nicholas Kralev
Nicholas Kralev is an accomplished author, entrepreneur, and international affairs expert with more than 20 years of experience that has taken him to 99 countries. His expertise spans various public and private sectors, including diplomatic training and executive education, communications, and public diplomacy. He is the executive director of the Washington International Diplomatic Academy, where he leads efforts to provide training, executive education, and professional development to diplomats worldwide. Before that, he was the CEO of Kralev International LLC, a consulting and training firm specializing in communications and public diplomacy.
Kralev is also an accomplished journalist, having been a former Financial Times and Washington Times diplomatic correspondent. He has accompanied four Secretaries of State on their travels around the world, including Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, and Madeleine Albright. He has authored two books, "America's Other Army" and "Diplomats in the Trenches," in addition to serving as the host of the TV series "Conversations with Nicholas Kralev" on diplomacy.
Kralev holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School and speaks five languages. He has also appeared as a contributing writer for The Atlantic, Foreign Policy Magazine, and the Huffington Post, and has been a guest on NPR, CNN, BBC, Fox News, and local stations across the globe.
