Anne Allen is a highly accomplished artist and arts administration professional with over 19 years of experience in public art project management, museum management, and curatorial work. Her dedication to promoting best practices in the public art field is evident in her work as Public Art Project Manager at the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. Anne is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and the State University of New York at New Paltz where she studied Painting, printmaking and Metals respectively.
Her expertise in contemporary art, public art trends and management skills has made her the ideal candidate to direct and manage various art institutions such as the Arlington Museum of Art, the Old Jail Art Center, the Gallery at Rivendell, and Working Solo Inc. Anne's skill set is not limited to art management, and she has held various sales and marketing roles at companies like Pallas Textiles, Guilford of Maine, and SunarHauserman.
Anne is also an avid athlete, lover of the outdoors, and heavy user of trails in Tarrant and Collin Counties, clearly displaying her passion for fitness, nature, and her community. She is one of the four founding members of the informal Fort Worth running group, Ranch View Gang Running. Anne's dedication to the arts as a catalyst for economic development and its ability to promote cultural enrichment in societies is evident in all her endeavours.
