Kate Olen

Kate Olen is a talented and accomplished culinary gardener and farmer. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Middlebury College. Kate began her career as a Farmer and Teacher at St. Helena Montessori. She went on to become the Culinary Garden Consultant and then the Culinary Garden Manager at Ram's Gate Winery. Kate honed her skills as a farmer and gained invaluable experience at The French Laundry where she worked as a Farm Crew and then an Assistant Culinary Gardener.

Kate's passion for sustainable agriculture and culinary arts has driven her to excel in her work. She has a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of plant life, and the ability to cultivate beautiful, bountiful gardens. Kate is a dedicated professional who works tirelessly to bring fresh, healthy ingredients to kitchens and restaurants.
