Crystal Hudson is a versatile and accomplished professional with a background in economics, sports management, and community activism. She is a graduate of Spelman College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and The George Washington University School of Business, where she earned a Masters of Tourism Administration in Sports Management.

Crystal has worked in various roles across a range of organizations, from sports teams to government offices. Her experience includes positions as Director of Game Operations for the Washington Wizards & Mystics, Senior Marketing Officer for Amtrak's Entertainment & Sports Marketing division, and Co-Director of the Community Outreach Unit for the New York City Council. She has also served as the First Deputy Public Advocate of Community Engagement for the Office of the New York City Public Advocate and as Chief of Operations for the New York City Council Majority Leader.

In addition to her professional experience, Crystal is a founder of the Greater Prospect Heights Mutual Aid organization, which provides essential services and resources to communities in need. She was also a 2015 Fellow of the New Leaders Council, a national organization that trains and supports progressive leaders.
