Bryan Zmijewski

Bryan Zmijewski is an accomplished design transformation leader, dedicated to uncovering the behaviors and practices of exceptional creative leaders. Over the past two decades, he has lent his expertise to an impressive range of organizations, including Facebook, Netflix, and Panlitir. He is the president and owner of ZURB and a former design lecturer at Stanford University. Bryan began his career at Stanford, where he taught and learned about how designers were evolving to change the business world.

Bryan's unwavering commitment to understanding what makes a design leader influential led him to create Progressive Design, a framework designed to surface and teach the unique behavioral actions of the world's best creative leaders. As a coach and speaker, he has advised over a thousand executives, including CEOs who seek the value of a design-driven organization. Bryan has devoted his professional life to bringing the principles of Progressive Design to an array of organizations and mentoring hundreds of designers from companies like Facebook, Dropbox, and Uber.

Bryan is an expert in creative decision making and Progressive Design, and he is currently working on a book on the subject. In addition to his professional pursuits, Bryan was a former collegiate runner and state champion and continues to share his passion for running.
