Brian Goebel

Brian Goebel is a versatile professional with years of experience in nonprofit management, philanthropy, and social enterprise. He currently serves as the Managing Director at The Roberto C. Goizueta Business and Society Institute, where he oversees the development of innovative programs and student activities that boost neighborhood vitality in Atlanta through microbusiness development, strengthen coffee grower communities in Latin America through women’s empowerment, and develop the next generation of principled social enterprise leaders through experiential learning. Additionally, Brian is also an instructor for Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy Lab courses.

Brian's educational background includes a BA in Sociology with a focus on Global Environmental Change from the University of Michigan, and a John R. Moore Scholar MBA in Consulting, Organization, and Management from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Prior to his current role, Brian has worked as a managed consultant at Deloitte Consulting, served as the Program Director at Start:ME Atlanta, and worked as a Nonprofit Manager at United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.
