Arjen Mackaaij (Mackaay)

Arjen Mackaaij is an accomplished professional in the field of operations and people strategy. With extensive experience in leading and partnering with executive teams in fast-growing tech, creative, and digital companies, Arjen has demonstrated expertise in aligning people strategy with business priorities. He holds an MBA from the esteemed University of Chicago - Booth School of Business, as well as a BS and MS in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Arjen is also a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt, a Clifton Strengths Coach, and certified in Total Quality/Process Management.

Arjen has held a range of successful positions in a variety of well-known organizations. Before he became a founding member of CPOHQ, a prominent community for CPOs and HR executives, he served as the SVP of People at FabFitFun, played a key role in global organizational design, culture creation, and talent acquisition as People and Operations Director at BCG Digital Ventures, and contributed his expertise in strategy consulting and project management at The Boston Consulting Group. In addition, Arjen has also served in leadership positions at LG Electronics and Deutsche Telekom AG.
