With a degree in Mathematical Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Mathematics from Southwestern JiaoTong University, Chen has held various senior leadership roles in credit policy, risk governance, forecast modeling, collection, and fraud at top companies like Lending Club, JPMorgan Chase Card Services, Washington Mutual Card Services, Providian Financial Services, Fleet Credit Card Services, PNC National Bank, Household Credit Services, American Express/SROC, and CITICORP/CHOICE.

As a business executive, Chen is skilled in credit policy, database marketing, forecasting, modeling, risk management, and Basel II preparation. She has managed more than 2,000 employees across multiple domestic and international locations and has proven to be a strong team player. Chen's expertise and experience have led to her being a former Chief Risk Officer, Vice Chairman, Chief Credit Officer, Senior Vice President, Director, and Instructor throughout her career.
