Adam Setapen is a computer scientist and roboticist based in Massachusetts. He earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and continued his studies at MIT, where he pursued a Masters in Robotics and Media Arts and Sciences. Setapen's interest in robotics is focused on enhancing human-robot interactions and designing robots that can learn from their human counterparts. He is an expert in robotics, applied machine learning, computer vision, human-robot interaction, robot design and prototyping, and animation.
Setapen has worked for various organizations, including Canvas Construction, Primed Technologies, Mayfield Robotics, and AltSchool. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab and University of Texas at Austin, and served as a Senior Student Associate at Applied Research Labs. A passionate roboticist, Setapen has gained extensive experience in creating and developing robots that can live, work, and learn alongside humans, and his work in this field has earned him several accolades.
