Shivani Poddar is an experienced litigator based in New York City. She specializes in complex commercial, securities, real estate, and employment-related disputes, representing investors, financial institutions, commercial real estate firms, insurance companies, healthcare companies, and other domestic and international entities in all phases of litigation. Her extensive experience extends to bankruptcy-related matters where she advises both debtors and creditor committees. Poddar is a champion of diversity both within her law firm and in her life, working to promote the representation of all diverse individuals, women, and under-represented groups.

With a background that includes a bachelor's degree in international relations from Boston University, a Juris Doctor from American University's Washington College of Law, and social science research background from Brooklyn Technical High School, Poddar has undergone extensive training across different disciplines.
