Sue Larson has over 25 years of experience as a senior talent management, organization, and leadership development consultant, working in companies ranging from a large Fortune 100 company, to a rapid growth start-up, and the largest healthcare system on the west coast. Larson's career has been primarily in the tech industry, where she has thrived on the fast pace and ever-changing landscape. She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and various certifications in leadership, team, and organization development.
At Microsoft, Larson was a leadership development/OD consultant for the Xbox Division, Central OD Group, and Office/Productivity & Business Services. She also served as HR Director for Windows & Xbox Engineering, contributing to the Xbox engineering organization's need for increased speed of decision making and clarity of roles to hit anticipated ship date with high levels of quality. In contrast, Larson collaborated with executive teams across Microsoft to develop breakthrough performance and drive change in their organizations.
At Providence, Larson drove a values-based culture shift at Swedish Health Services and led efforts to improve first-year turnover through innovative practices for onboarding new employees. Moreover, Larson played a critical role in the integration of ten acquisitions in two years at Great Plains Software. She was also a key player in the company's globalization strategy, driving consistency of practices across global offices to create efficiencies.
