Taharka Beamon is a highly skilled and experienced SOC Manager with certifications in CISSP, CySA+, Security+, and ITIL Foundation. With a diverse educational background in finance, marketing, and cybersecurity, Taharka has honed his expertise in the field of trade show organization and management. Taharka currently serves as the SOC Manager at Reed Exhibitions, a major global tradeshow organizer of over 500 events, including major international events like New York Comic Con and the International Security Conference East and West.

Before becoming the SOC Manager, Taharka worked his way up the ranks at Reed Exhibitions, starting as a technical support customer service representative and IT helpdesk analyst before becoming a junior security analyst and finally a security analyst. In addition to his tenure at Reed Exhibitions, Taharka has also worked in the healthcare industry as a privacy and compliance case manager at Medco Health Solutions and as a mobile health helpdesk analyst at Quest Diagnostics. Taharka has a graduate certificate in cybersecurity from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in finance from Drexel University, as well as an Associate in Applied Science in marketing from the State University of New York at Delhi.
