Gregory Brown
Gregory Brown is an accomplished mediator, arbitrator, and neutral evaluator with over four decades of experience in civil trials. With a specialization in litigation management and alternative dispute resolution, Brown has worked with private businesses, individuals, fiduciaries, insurance companies, and public entities. He completed his certifications in mediating the litigated case and advanced mediation at Pepperdine University School of Law's Strauss Institute. Brown is an associate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and holds a lifetime teaching credential in Law and Police Sciences from the California Community Colleges.
Brown is dedicated to training business owners, risk managers, and attorneys in mediation skills, including mock-mediation sessions and mock trials. He was the past President of the Alameda County Bar Association and has volunteered his time and expertise as a Chair of the Volunteer Legal Services Corporation of Alameda County. Brown also served as Chair of the Oakland Police Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to community service.
Throughout his career, Brown has successfully handled numerous civil cases to verdict, representing self-insured companies of all sizes. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from the Golden Gate University School of Law.
