Diana Eromosele is a talented full-stack software engineer with an impressive background. She has a degree in Political Science from Duke University and a Master's in Professional Studies focused on Journalism from Georgetown University. Her extensive knowledge in politics and journalism gives her a strong understanding of how to develop web applications that keep people informed and engaged.

Diana has worked for various prominent organizations throughout her career, starting as a Communications Specialist at Direct Impact and moving on to become a Staff Writer at The Root. Following that, she worked as an Editorial Fellow at CNN and a Communications Coordinator at National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. Diana then transitioned to tech, working as both a Software Engineer Fellowship at Newark Venture Partners and a Web Development Teaching Fellow at Codecademy.

Currently, Diana is a Senior Software Engineer at Newsela. Her skills in Python, React, Redux, Jest, MySQL, and AWS are put to good use on the web team where she develops and maintains the Newsela app, a customizable reading content application utilized by educators and students.

In addition to her work at Newsela, Diana is also the founder of Categorized, a web application that enables users to sort qualifying tweets into nine key categories. Diana built it from the front end (React, d3.js) to the back-end (Rails, Postgres, Sidekiq, Redis, Heroku), making it available to thousands of users.
