Derek Gossi

Derek Gossi is a dedicated data scientist with a strong focus on fostering model-driven cultures and ensuring statistical accuracy in generating meaningful insights for people. He is driven by a passion for participating in projects that aim to positively impact the world. Derek holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nevada-Reno, a Data Science Bootcamp certification from Metis, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics, also from the University of Nevada-Reno.

With a rich professional background, Derek Gossi has held various key positions in reputable organizations. He has served as a Senior Data Engineer at Plenty, a Senior Data Scientist at both Plenty and Tesla, and as a Data Scientist at Rush Street Gaming and Tesla. Furthermore, he has contributed to the academic field as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nevada Reno. Derek has also gained valuable analytical experience as a Senior Analyst at Wells Gaming Research and as an Intern at Sutter Securities Incorporated.
