Tahir Sheikh is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience designing and developing microprocessors and other innovations. He has worked for major technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Sun, Intel, and Unisys. After working in-house for several years, Tahir branched out to provide design, verification, and validation consultancy and contracting services to companies in the San Francisco Bay area. He specializes in FPGA, ASIC, Board, Systems, and all aspects of microprocessor design.

Tahir holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University, and studied at Stanford University. He has also worked in various capacities, including Staff Engineer at SiRF Technology, Principal Electrical Design Engineer at Silicon Packets / Cypress Semiconductor, and Member of Technical Staff at Sun Microsystems. He is also a former Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Intel Corporation / Pyramid / Micron, a former Senior Design Engineer at Unisys, and a former IC Design Engineer at Hitachi Micro Systems.
