Liz Hector is a respected social entrepreneur with a passion for transformative change. She is currently the PMI Netherlands Director for Academic Outreach and Education Foundation, where she leads a volunteer team to bring project management skills and experience to schools and NGOs. Her focus is on social good initiatives, and she works with a select number of charities, businesses, schools, and not-for-profits to help them create meaningful change. She is also the founder of a design thinking and strategy development start-up, where she supports sustainable change through process, communication, and analytics.

In her previous role at IBM, Liz was responsible for IX Interactive and Mobile for Industrial, IBM's NL Shell Account Team, European Social Business, the BeNeLux Human Capital practice, and their internal Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Team. Liz has a wealth of industry experience, including tech, biotech, industrial business, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and engineering, electronics, banking, and telecom.

Liz is PMP certified since 2006, and she is a member of the Project Management Institute, International Management Accountants, and the Internet Market Association. She is committed to fostering diversity and valuing differences to bring innovation to the workplace. She is a passionate mentor, and her motivation lies in realizing business outcomes and mentoring her team in the process.
