Content Marketing Strategist

As a director of content marketing, I specialize in helping clients tell their story and reach their target audiences through strategic content development, distribution and promotion. I have significant experience developing a diverse array of content, including but not limited to press releases, bylines, blogs, social posts, ebooks, tip sheets and infographic content, as well as an extensive series of case studies in support of clients' customer reference programs. I also manage clients' social media channels, which entails working closely with PR teams to develop strategic social content calendars, drafting posts in a variety of tones to populate the calendars, scheduling posts for distribution, sharing tailored posts with client teams to help spur employee engagement and reporting on post performance. In addition to content development, I also manage an extensive display advertising program for a client in the satellite space. This includes the development of strategic media plans that align with key events and reflect the goals of key business units, the management of annual ad budget and buys, liaising with publication reps, content development for ad creative, ad placement and regular reporting and program evaluation to improve strategic ad placement. I also manage day to day account activities, serve as a main day-to-day contact for my clients and help mentor and develop junior members of staff.

Account Manager

As an SAE at LEWIS, I served as a day-to-day contact for both my clients and the media. Media relations was one of my core activities, which included writing and organizing proactive pitches for team members, responding to appropriate media queries, and identifying opportunities to involve my clients in key stories that were being widely covered in target media outlets. I was also responsible for a great amount of content generation, in the form of bylines, press releases, blogs and case studies.

During this time I served as an English language and culture assistant in the Spanish Ministry of Education's "Cultural Ambassadors" program, an initiative designed to improve English skills among Spanish students by exposing them to native speakers at a young age. I lived in Murcia, Spain and worked in a bilingual primary school where I assisted teachers in daily English and Science classes. I was also able to vastly improve my Spanish skills during my time in Spain through regular Spanish classes, the opportunity to converse with locals, and travel experiences throughout the country.
