Brett Gibson
Brett Gibson is a seasoned software developer and venture capitalist who has co-founded and worked with several successful startups. He obtained his bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara before launching his career in the software industry. Gibson co-founded the blog platform Posterous, which was later acquired by Twitter, and Posthaven, a blogging platform designed to be a successor of Posterous. He also co-founded the social news platform Slinkset, which received funding from Y Combinator and DrawHere, a browser drawing tool acquired by DeviantArt.
Gibson worked as a software engineer at Grand Central Communications, where he gained valuable experience in developing software systems, and later joined Y Combinator, where he built essential internal software. Currently, Gibson serves as a partner at Initialized Capital, a seed-stage venture capital firm that helps young entrepreneurs build world-class companies.
