Joyce Chen is an accomplished writer and editor from Southern California. She has more than a decade of experience in the media industry, having worked for a number of major publications such as Us Weekly, People magazine, and the New York Daily News. She has an educational background in Print Journalism and Psychology, having studied at the University of Southern California, and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from The New School.

Chen is currently freelancing for various online and print publications, including Rolling Stone, Architectural Digest, The Knot, and TODAY.com. She is also a co-founder of an arts and literary 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Seventh Wave. Her expertise and interests lie in writing, editing, blogging, public relations, and multimedia publishing.
