Ole Petter Nyhaug is a well-rounded consumer trends and insight specialist with over 15 years of experience in research innovation, public speaking, and consulting. He has a Bachelor's degree in Consumer Behavior and Marketing from Handelshøyskolen BI and has studied at Bjertnes. Nyhaug has worked with various global, regional, and local clients across multiple consumer sectors, including Coca-Cola, IKEA, Unilever, Audi, Vodafone, Telefonica, Philips, Kraft Foods, and Telenor. He has an extensive background in business development, leading market research industry innovation, innovation in insight communities, trend research, and insight visualization. Nyhaug is also an entrepreneur, an expert in human optimization, visual communication, and strength training.

As a former partner and co-founder of OnLive Research, Nyhaug was instrumental in developing new research methods, while at Synovate, he served as Business Development Director for Europe-LatAm-Africa, instrumental in pioneering and developing Research Reinvented and served as the Research Director of Global Consumer Trends and Research 2.0. Nyhaug was also the Business Area Manager at Ipsos MMI and a trend and market analyst at Telenor. He is currently the Partner and Creative Director at Opinion AS and has also previously held editor positions at Analysen NMF and MD/ Managing Partner/ Founder at Fishnet Nordic.
