- Developing and designing analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for next generation CRDM and Neuromodulation implantable medical devices.•  Resolving IC sensitivities through systematic design/layout focused root cause investigation to improve wafer yields.•  Identifying and eliminating issues with the current CRDM Design Flow with the goal of eliminating rework and reducing design cycle time.

Medtronic

- Designed an ultra low power (<500nA) Low Dropout Regulator for use in medical implantable devices, using sub-threshold operation and extensive layout techniques to minimize power, mismatch, and offset.•  Completed design and layout of the chip to enable the characterization of the process after fabrication.•  Held a mid-term and end-of-term design review to critique and enhance the design.

Analog Circuit Designer - Medical Implantables

- Researched and prototyped an implantable, rechargeable electrical stimulator for Deep Brain Stimulation therapy focused around the potential benefits of a decaying exponential vs. biphasic square pulses.•  Designed an IC and the necessary system components to perform bench testing and ensure operation.

Graduate Research Assistant

- Designed a block that compares the voltage output of a 3-phase spindle motor to identify the motor’s state.•  Redesigned the method of comparison selection that reduced offset variation and area cost.•  Worked with supervisor to provide detailed system information to the customer.
