Michel Birnbaum is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with a wealth of experience in healthcare, tech, and finance. He studied Aerospace Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and later earned an MBA from the London Business School. Michel is a team-oriented problem solver with a passion for building and scaling companies from the ground up. He has worked with healthcare providers and entrepreneurs to develop patient-centric strategies and improve the efficient delivery of care. Michel has also led over 40 tech and Life Sciences transactions, IPOs, M&A and private placements throughout his career in investment banking, venture capital, and as a CEO on LSE. His expertise extends to the EU Framework Program 6 (technology innovation) and tech transfer models, and he has extensive VC and corporate relationships across the US, Europe, and Asia. Michel has also worked with government agencies, universities, and R&D centers on innovation and tech transfer models. He brings combined expertise in technology, operations, strategy, and finance to help scale emerging growth companies in digital media, mobile, hardware, and healthcare. Michel is an EIR and leads the SNBC Industry Advisory Board at NTUitive. He has served on various organizations, including being elected Vice Chairman of the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association.
