Alan Hackett is a seasoned Senior Design Engineer with a rich background in developing innovative products across several industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design, and has over 14 years of experience transforming product ideas from the initial concept to final manufacturing. Alan brings a hands-on and creative approach to every project he works on, utilizing his expertise in 3D CAD Solidworks & PDM, mechanical design and surfacing, electronic enclosures, material selection, reverse engineering, and more. He has experience in manufacturing products using sheet metal, CNC Machining, welding, lathe parts, extrusions, die-casting, and other advanced techniques. Alan has worked with Fortune 500 clients in various industries including critical power and vehicle charging industries, commercial furniture systems, electric motorcycles, and more. He has also received two US patents for his commercial LED lighting products. Currently, Alan is the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Mainspring Energy.
