Jean-Martin Aussant, an accomplished economist and financier, has had an impressive career trajectory spanning multiple academic fields and industries. He started by studying business administration, actuarial science, and mathematics, moving to gain a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Montreal and a doctoral-level course in Mathematical Economics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Aussant's professional experience is extensive and diverse. He was the founder of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association, a consultancy contract General Manager for the Québec Video Game Guild, and an advisor to the National Assembly of Québec. He was also a Senior Portfolio Manager at PSP Investments, Director, Vice-president, and Executive Director all at MSCI Inc., and CIO at CEOS Family Office. Aussant was declared as Deputy and Party Leader of the National Assembly in Québec in 2012.
