As a Behavior Change Consultant, I partner closely with the Chief Design Officer & Founder to bring a unique and different perspective to the way people think about product design—applying experience with designing habits, behavior change, and behavior psychology to completely understand the reason behind what drives users to certain behavior, to create the best user experiences possible.

Select Accomplishments:

—Played an important leadership role in the development of a presentation to BlueShield of California, delivering a psychological perspective of its users—to drive a website redesign to guide its customers through the healthcare purchasing journey.

—Partnered with Chief Design Officer in the development of a tool for fitness coaches at UC Berkeley, informing them on how to manage motivations over a 10-week period, and be more effective in their coaching sessions.

Challenged to provide high-touch, 1:1 and group-setting coaching and mentoring to participants of the University’s WorkfitU program—a twice annual 10-week program comprising a cohort of 25 participants. Guided participants to teach the tenets of behavior change and designing habits. Led train-the-trainer sessions for new and existing coaches to facilitate their continuing education in behavior change models and methods. Led a total of eight cohorts over a four-year period.

—Clients achieved a 20% to 45% decrease in blood glucose levels, a 10% increase in lean muscle mass, and an 85% success rate of maintaining and improving upon their fitness capacities and healthy habits.
