ShipHero is a company that makes it easy for brands & fulfillment providers to ship ecommerce.

At this position I worked on the Python/Flask/MySQL backend as well as architecting and putting together a new large-scale, queue monitoring and interaction tool for a massive set of concurrent events, making sure data loss could be overcame and data could be preserved and queried at all times.

The dashboard frontend was build with NextJS/ReactJS/GraphQL using TypeScript and the backend was implemented with Python/Flask/MongoDB/MySQL/Docker.

I'm currently working as tech lead on a project involving migrating some key parts of the site to new technologies to serve the growing and expanding business.

Since I joined Ipsy, I worked on several different projects, most of them fullstack, implementing new features, site sections and migrating several sections of the site from AngularJS to ReactJS.

Some of the sections I worked on, among several others, were:
-  Main landing page at <a href="http://www.ipsy.com">www.ipsy.com</a>,
-  User onboarding quiz,
-  Glambag ultimate landing page for the product launch,
-  User checkout page,

The site handles many millions of visits on regular basis, as well as particularly high-traffic peaks at some moments of the month.

While there, I also worked with Python and PHP. As a part of my tasks, I gave several trainings on Python and Git to a group of my coworkers that were less experienced on those technologies.

Worken on a team responsible for building the tools that coordinate all the development processes of Workiva, that is +950 Developers.

Collaborated with the development of two projects with several applications that aim for a frictionless development cycle: Smithy & Zuul. Smithy is integrated with Github and coordinates the work between several diverse (both in their technology stacks & projects) and geographically dispersed teams. The app aims at automating different tasks, specially tests, integration and deployment. Smithy runs tests suites (Unit tests, Integration tests, etc) and creates releases or builds artifacts that are then deployed by Zuul wherever needed or where it may correspond: A PyPi, web server, a NPM server, a web server, etc.

Team Size: 15 Full Stack Developers.

Designed and developed a web based tool to automate image comparison of the generated DOCX documents to validate them.
