Pamela Bookbinder Clarke is a Talent Matchmaker with a passion for connecting individuals to their perfect career opportunities. She spent 10 years working in a variety of roles at Achievement First, a charter management organization running 36 public, high-performing, college preparatory academies in Brooklyn, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Clarke currently serves as the Managing Director of Talent at KIPP NJ - Miami, which runs high-performing, public charter schools in Newark, Camden, and Miami. As a member of the Cabinet, she works closely with the recruitment team, Principal, and Teacher in Residence programs to source and attract top candidates. Clarke started her career as a Teach for America Corps Member, teaching 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade Social Studies in The Bronx. She is a Leadership New York 23 Fellow at the Coro New York Leadership Center and has also participated in Education Pioneers.
