Cara Zhao is an accomplished computer science professional with a diverse background in software development, operations research, and artificial intelligence. She was a valedictorian in high school and holds a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in operations research from Cornell University. Cara has been a software development engineer at Amazon since 2019, where she works on various projects, such as developing new features and improving performance of existing systems. Before joining Amazon, she worked as a software engineer at BlackRock, where she was involved in building and maintaining financial platforms using cutting-edge technologies.

Cara also has experience as a teaching assistant for an artificial intelligence course, where she helped students learn difficult concepts and provided guidance to those who were struggling. Additionally, she interned at Pfizer, where she gained valuable skills in data analysis and problem-solving, and facilitated Statistics and Differential Equations at Cornell University.
