Karuna Vempala, also known as Karan, is the current Head of Talent Acquisition at Cigniti Technologies. He is responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition group and managing the Hiring and Resourcing function for the organization. Karan is recognized by the industry as an expert in Staff Augmentation, Solutions Hiring, and Permanent & Contractual Hiring. He has 19 years of experience in these areas, as well as in super niche skills hiring and strategic deployment. Karan has been instrumental in building some of the world's best independent testing organizations, which aligns with his mission of developing a billion-dollar independent testing unicorn at Cigniti.

Karan's experience is global, including hiring practices in the US, South America, the UK, Canada, Europe, ANZ, South Africa, and emerging markets. Prior to joining Cigniti, Karan worked at AppLabs (a CSC company), where he delivered high-volume hiring needs for large enterprise accounts, attracting talent globally to various TCOEs. He helped build and manage strong customer portfolios that led to strong projects and portfolios worldwide.

Karan's hiring and staffing initiatives are known for being "just-in-time," attracting candidates quickly and efficiently. He deploys native resources for Fortune 500 and Fortune 2000 clients, and his international visa legislation experience allows him to deploy native speakers for prestigious clients.
