Johnny Lee is an accomplished leader in the tech industry with a track record of founding and leading technological teams. With a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, a BS in EECS from University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from INSEAD, Lee has a strong educational background to complement his experience. He is an expert partner and head of global engineering at Bain & Company and has held multiple leadership roles during his career.
Lee has worked at both startups and large tech companies in various domains including fintech, consumer mobile, search, and emerging markets. With 19 tech patents under his belt, Johnny Lee is a technical expert in software engineering and product development. Lee is also an entrepreneur, having founded Spotsetter, which was acquired by Apple in 2014. He is a former CTO at Tala and FitFiend and has worked as an Engineering Manager for Local Search at Apple as well as a consultant for Siemens Management Consulting.
In addition to his entrepreneurial and technical expertise, Lee is also an advisor to startup networks and has a strong passion for emerging technologies.
