Ron Broens is a seasoned business development and strategy professional with extensive experience as an entrepreneur and consultant. He is skilled in innovation capability development, business design, creating value propositions, product development, analyzing ecosystems, and devising strategic plans. He has a broad technical education, including three degrees and proficiency in five languages. Ron excels at creating strategies that add value to all business ecosystem participants and is a creative agent of change, an effective communicator, and highly adaptable.

Ron has achieved various professional milestones throughout his career, such as enabling a client's 246% revenue growth in one year, negotiating a 10% price reduction with a key supplier after two meetings, and creating a completely new five-year diversification growth strategy for a 9 million euro automotive industry company. He also developed two major technology incubation business cases that were later implemented and offered to global customers of a 4 billion euro company for recycling, reverse logistics, multi-level repair services, design, and manufacturing services for LED lighting solutions.

Ron has served in various capacities throughout his career, including as a Founding Partner, Board Member, & Managing Director at Eloquense Oy, Director of Strategy & Business Development, MT member at Spheros-Parabus Oy (now part of Valeo), Founder, Lead Innovation & Strategy Consultant at BOOI Innovations Oy, and Manager, Technology & Innovation at Elcoteq SE. He is currently working on a startup at VERGE Motorcycles.

Outside of work, Ron pursues various hobbies such as building a 1.5kW, 3-phase windmill, and a 6.5hp wood-chipper, practicing martial arts, studying mathematics, and homesteading.
