Co-founded Pacific Urban Residential ('PUR') with multifamily industry leader George Marcus (Founder, Marcus & Millichap (NYSE- 'MMI'), Essex Property Trust (NYSE 'ESS'), Summerhill Homes and others.  Start-up enterprise initially capitalized with $1M. Since inception firm has grown to five offices, 65 corporate professionals and over 300 onsite property management colleagues. We have acquired over $7.5 billion of apartment communities. Current owned apartment portfolio valued at $4.5 billion. Committed and invested equity capital in excess of $2.5 billion. Work closely with strategic institutional, pension and private partners to acquire compelling multifamily investments in western region, urban markets. Recently opened new investment office in NYC. Current expansion into Boston.

As Strategic Co-Chair sought to identify alternative solutions to proposed rent control initiative. Advocate for preservation of current housing stock and market driven solutions.
