Assistant Command Inspector General at UNITED STATES AFRICA COMMAND

Serves as Detailed Inspector General for the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) Office of the Inspector General. The Inspector General (IG) is the Commander’s eyes and ears. Through the inspection processes, teaching and training, assistance, and investigation, IG personnel report on the command’s discipline, efficiency, economy, morale, training, and readiness in support of the Commander's intent. Performs as a fair, impartial, and objective fact-finder and problem-solver.  Assists the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Civilians and their Families to quickly resolve issues of concern, impropriety or wrongdoing.  Performs investigations, inspections, and assistance functions as directed by the Command Inspector General.  Conducts engagements to assist African militaries and ministries of defense in establishing and enhancing Host Nation IG capabilities throughout USAFRICOM’s area of responsibility.

Assistant Command Inspector General

U.S. Army Reserve board-select for resident attendance of the Command and General Staff Officer Course-Common Core.The U.S. Army Command and General Staff School provides masters-level curriculum and instruction to nearly 5,000 U.S. Army Majors, Sister Service, and Interagency personnel annually, by way of the Command and General Staff Officer Course. The course educates and trains field grade leaders to serve as staff officers and commanders with the ability to build teams, lead organizations, and integrate Unified Land Operations with Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational partners in complex and uncertain environments.

Student

Performed duties as Assistant Professor of Military Science to support the Professor of Military Science in developing ROTC Cadets to access as Commissioned Officers into the United States Army.  Taught Military Science and mentored Cadets in the Tenants of Leadership in order to recruit, lead, mentor, train, and assess new officers for all Army components.  Provided guidance in the planning, publication, and execution of Physical Readiness Training, Leadership Laboratories, Leadership Development Exercises, and Joint Leadership Development Exercises.  Developed Cadet Curriculum, meet all protocol requirements, and oversaw the development and execution of Cadet social functions. Liaison between ROTC and local GA ARNG/Army Reserve units for resources to support training exercises.Rated the #1 first-year Assistant Professor of Military Science by the brigade commander.Successfully trained a class of 11 Augusta University sophomores in Military Science and Leadership.Positively influenced the decision of five students to accept ROTC contracts and become Cadets.

Assistant Professor of Military Science

Led a team of subject matter experts that provide support to multiple implementation teams by answering questions and resolving issues, including all areas pertaining to the Major Account Services (MAS) Core Market / South Region's operations. ADP's MAS clients depend on us to implement new technologies, advance apps across the enterprise, and scale services to their exact needs.Managed transfer of 5 tenured associates w/in first 90 days; selected replacements adding 7 direct reports to team; quickly built engaged and cohesive team despite constantly evolving business needs.Proponent of ADP’s Mission, Vision, and Values; completed Service Excellence, Leadership Excellence, Stand Out, and behavioral interview training; piloted ADP’s new behavioral interview process. Led a team consisting of 10 – 12 Implementation Technical Leads.

Implementation Manager

Served as the principal staff officer responsible for the coordination and development of day-to-day project management planning and execution activities. Monitored and managed Battalion and Brigade requirements, missions, taskers and projects; employed initiative to bring actions to completion and report status to the Battalion Commander (Director). Assisted the Chief of Staff (Deputy Director) to perform duties as required including but not limited to: personnel management, task management and tracking, meeting attendance, and provide leadership and mentorship to Battalion staff officers and Solders as required.  Planned, organized and functioned as an action officer on assignments issued by the Battalion Commander. Promoted a positive environment and coordinated with other Battalion staff and the larger Brigade and Division staff to meet requirements.Assisted with unit recognition program; drafted award recommendations for seven Soldiers; five of these medals were presented at the battalion's award ceremony.Coordinated with Recruitment and Retention leaders and the unit’s administrator to advertise all Soldier vacancies; ensured openings were published on internal networks and at 11 Regional Recruiting Centers.

Special Project Officer

Served as Detailed Inspector General responsible for the research, development, and conduct of command-directed inspections for the Army’s Cyber Center of Excellence, as well as generating inspection topics in the absence of guidance. Ensured all inspections were fair, impartial assessments in compliance with Army Regulations. Aggressively gathered, crosschecked, and packaged accurate information to provide leaders with relevant feedback/recommendations. Planned and executed two highly visible inspections; improved installation-wide programs and policies.Supervised five Assistant Inspector Generals in inspections planning and execution.

US Army

Detailed Inspector General (Chief Compliance Officer)

Served as the Executive Officer / Chief of Staff for an Army Reserve Basic Combat Training Battalion. Responsible for supervision of the battalion staff and for the administrative, operational, and logistical support of the battalion headquarters and six subordinate companies. Responsible for ensuring the development, use, and refinement of processes and systems essential for the battalion's administrative, logistical, and operational readiness as well as the readiness of subordinate elements. Responsible for coordinating support from higher headquarters and outside agencies as needed to ensure readiness. Provided guidance, leadership, and mentorship to the battalion staff officers and junior leaders through an active professional development program. Led one Senior Non-commissioned Officer and seven Commissioned Officers. Duties include assumption of command in the absence of the battalion commander.Selected to lead 150 Soldiers as the interim Battalion Commander (Director) from July – September 2017.Maintained the unit’s schedule and facilitated the merger of two companies and integration of five new companies.Ensured 100% accountability of $605K in equipment; passed the Regional HQ’s Physical Security Inspection.

Battalion Executive Officer (Chief of Staff / Deputy Director)

Served as the Battalion Operations Officer for an Army Reserve Basic Combat Training Battalion. Responsible for providing tactical and technical guidance to the battalion commander as the commander's primary assistant in almost every aspect of the planning, coordination, and conduct of Basic Combat Training. The unit's mission includes certification of Basic Combat Training Cadre for Mission Command, Basic Combat Training, and Individual Ready Reserve Refresher Training during peacetime, partial, or full mobilization conditions to Fort Jackson, SC or other US Army Training Command installations. Leads two Senior Non-commissioned Officers and three Commissioned Officers.Planned four battalion Weapon Qualification Ranges, a family day, a battalion dining out, a LeaderProfessional Development event, and two Field Training Exercises. The events' success resulted in the highest recruitment of Soldiers for any battalion within the brigade.Raised the standard for the battalion training meeting format and other staff products. Directly contributed to the 1-321st Battalion's improvement in satisfactory status of personnel actions from 23rd to 7th in the 98th Training Division.

Battalion Operations Officer (Primary Operations Manager)

Responsible for inside business development of the Community Bank market segment of 28 states, including the Northeast and Southeast United States geographic regions, as well as Nebraska and Kansas. This includes sales lead prospecting; evaluation of business opportunities; coordination of sales support and company efforts with prospects; development of proposals and sales contracts; closing sufficient new business to meet or exceed sales goals.Proven track record developing new business and delivering revenue growth. Successfully closed over 170 sales opportunities. Year-to-year, increased win rate by 20%, and total contract value by 35%.Applied consultative selling techniques in order to deliver the best combination of 9 software as a service (SaaS) solutions, and 13 security and financial risk management consulting services. Business Development Director - Regulatory Compliance

Served as an Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) volunteer for the United States Army Reserve.Maintained readiness as an Infantry Officer for potential activation by Presidential Reserve Callup Authority, a provision of a public law (US Code, Title 10 (DOD), section 12304) that provides the President a means to activate members of the Selected Reserve and the Individual Ready Reserve to meet the support requirements of both operational missions and national emergencies.

Infantry Officer, Individual Ready Reserve

Responsible for generating sales within new accounts and cross sales within existing accounts. This includes sales lead prospecting, managing the early aspects of the sales cycle, identifying new opportunities, and generating sufficient business to meet or exceed sales goals.Authored marketing emails for 12 regulatory compliance solutions, coordinated directly with the Director of Sales and the Marketing Manager for collaboration. Responsible for the draft, marketing approval, test, and delivery of this resource to the sales team.Selected by the Director of Sales to lead the on-boarding and training of two newly-hired peers, coached sales skills and educated on CSI's entire suite of regulatory compliance solutions, enhanced training material and on-boarding process for future team members.

Lead Generation Specialist - Regulatory Compliance

Served as the principal staff officer for all matters concerning training, operations, and plans; responsible for the planning, coordination, training, and operations of a Basic Combat Training (BCT) battalion; managed and coordinated current and future operations of the battalion; created and reviewed battalion policies and procedures regarding operational and organizational matters concerning the battalion's resources, training management, facility utilization, physical security, and personnel requirements; reviewed and developed short and long-range plans; managed all training schedules and training resources; responsible for the maintenance of all battalion personnel training records, schools, and certifications; responsible for the maintenance of battalion Initial Entry Training Soldier training records.  Led one Senior Non-commissioned Officer, four Non-commissioned Officers and one Department of Defense Civilian.Rated #1 Operations Officer of the four rated by the Battalion Commander over the course of his two year command.Efficiently organized and managed current battalion requirements while also resourcing, coordinating and executing planning for future training over the course of three 10-week BCT cycles which produced over 2,800 Soldiers for the Army.

Commanded a Basic Combat Training (BCT) Company comprised of a headquarters section and four BCT platoons consisting of 18 Soldiers and Drill Sergeants with a typical training load of 200-250 Soldiers per 10-week cycle and more than 1,200 Soldiers annually. Directly responsible for producing trained, motivated, disciplined, and physically fit Soldiers for the Army. Responsible for the safety, health, morale, discipline, administration, and security of the company.Through six BCT cycles, planned and directed the transformation of over 1,500 civilians into Soldiers.Enforced strict standards as the Company Safety Officer during the execution of 108 Live Fire Ranges; over 875,000 rounds of live ammunition expended with zero injuries to Soldiers or cadre. Direct application of risk mitigation measures contributed to the Company receiving an "Outstanding" rating from the Director of the Fort Jackson Safety Center and ensured Soldier safety throughout 18 Field Training Exercises, 96 Situational Training Exercises, and 24 Foot Marches.Maintained readiness of $1.7M in equipment, as well as personnel and facilities, through daily maintenance and supply accountability; zero losses due to fraud, waste or abuse.Created weekly training schedules and conducted weekly Training Meetings in order to plan, prepare, and execute all training to standard.

Logistics Readiness Officer (Logistics Manager)

Directed aerial port operations and management of the Air Terminal Operations Center. Coordinated contingency transportation support requirements and capabilities. Coordinated military and commercial aircraft schedules.	Led Flight of 50 personnel with average monthly movement of 1.3K aircraft, 17K passengers and 2K tons cargo.
