Mr. Prado is a passionate advocate of free and open-source software and has contributed to several open-source projects, including the Buildroot and the Linux kernel. He is also one of the co-founders of embarcados.com.br, Brazil's largest website for electronics and embedded systems, and he regularly contributes to his blogs embeddedbits.org in English and sergioprado.org in Portuguese.
