Umer Adnan

Umer Adnan is an accomplished technology leader with over 15 years of experience in product design, engineering, strategy, sales, risk mitigation, and venture capital. He is a Fulbright and Y Combinator alum, and a graduate of Arizona State University where he studied M.S. in Electrical Engineering after completing his Mechatronics Engineering degree at National University of Science and Technology.

Umer has a proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions across diverse domains, including enterprise software, embedded systems, robotics, industrial IoT, mechanical design, fabrication, and machine learning. He is the Founder and CEO of Cowlar, a multidisciplinary design shop that combines engineering, strategy, tech, and support to create impact for partners, clients, and customers worldwide.

Before founding Cowlar, Umer co-founded and served as CEO of E4 Technologies, worked as a Design Engineer at KBK Electronics, Founder/Owner of Solarize Inc, and a team leader at Akhter Solar Limited. Additionally, he served as the Co-President of the ASU Energy Club during his academic tenure.

Umer is an expert in startups, product development, engineering, strategy, sales, risk mitigation, and venture capital. He is passionate about creating impact through technology solutions and has extensive experience in working with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with partners and clients, and developing and executing successful strategies.
